Call for Special Sessions

CVAI 2027 invites proposals for Special Sessions to be held in conjunction with the main conference. These sessions offer a focused platform for presenting and discussing emerging research directions, cutting-edge methodologies, and novel application domains within computer vision and artificial intelligence. We strongly encourage submissions from both academic researchers and industry practitioners.

Each Special Session will be organized as a parallel track, typically comprising 4–6 invited or contributed papers. Organizers may also include panel discussions, live demonstrations, or interactive Q&A segments to foster in-depth exchange. Proposals should clearly articulate the session’s theme, its relevance to the CVAI community, and the expected contributions.

Proposal Submission Guidelines

A complete Special Session proposal should include the following elements:

1. Title of the Special Session
2. Organizers (names, affiliations, and brief biographical sketches)
3. Scope and Motivation – a clear description of the topic, its significance, and its alignment with CVAI 2027
4. List of Potential Papers / Contributors (if available at the time of submission)
5. Session Format – proposed duration, number of papers, and any special activities (panel, demo, etc.)
